The Rhythms of Kaziranga
Each season paints Kaziranga in different colours, offering distinct encounters and atmospheres throughout the year.
Jun — Sep
Dramatic flooding transforms the landscape into a vast wetland. Migratory waterbirds arrive in great numbers, and the lush greenery is at its most vivid.
Oct — Nov
Crystal-clear skies and golden light create ideal conditions for photography. Peak rhino sighting season as animals return to drier grasslands.
Dec — Feb
Migratory birds reach their peak numbers. Cool, misty mornings offer ethereal viewing conditions. Large elephant herds gather near water sources.
Mar — May
Wildflowers carpet the grasslands in colour. Tiger sighting probability is highest as vegetation thins and animals seek water in the rising heat.
