The Guardians
Three magnificent species define the conservation mission of this landscape — each a symbol of resilience, each in need of unwavering protection.
World's Largest Population
One-horned, armoured giant of the floodplains. Kaziranga shelters two-thirds of the global population of this iconic species.
Highest Density in Any Protected Area
Elusive predator of the tall grasslands. Kaziranga holds one of the highest tiger densities of any protected area on Earth.
Among the Most Endangered Large Mammals
Wetland guardians of the Brahmaputra. These massive bovines are critical indicators of floodplain ecosystem health.
Our Programs
Every stay at the lodge directly funds three long-running conservation and community programs.
Program 01
Directly funding ranger patrols and providing critical resources to the frontline defenders of Kaziranga's wildlife.
Program 02
Educational investment in indigenous Karbi communities surrounding the park, building the next generation of conservation leaders.
Program 03
Restoring critical wildlife corridors between fragmented habitats to ensure genetic diversity and safe passage for migratory species.
Our Standards
We hold ourselves to the highest standards of ethical wildlife interaction — the animals always come first.
Low-noise electric vehicles for all safaris
Strict proximity restrictions for all wildlife
100% plastic-free operations across the lodge
Limited group sizes — max 6 per vehicle
No flash photography permitted near wildlife
Seasonal area restrictions to protect breeding zones
The People
Our conservation work is led by dedicated individuals whose lives are woven into the fabric of this landscape.
Head Naturalist
Twenty-four years in the field. Born in the shadow of Kaziranga, Dr. Gogoi has tracked every species in the park and trained over 200 naturalist guides across northeast India.
Anti-Poaching Lead
Former forest ranger turned lodge security coordinator. Ranjan bridges the gap between lodge operations and frontline anti-poaching efforts across three park zones.
Community Liaison Officer
From the indigenous Karbi community, Dipali ensures that conservation efforts strengthen — rather than displace — the local communities who have lived alongside wildlife for centuries.
“We measure our success not in stars or awards, but in the number of calves born each season.”
