1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Verdanta Coonoor website ("Site") and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Site or services. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Verdanta Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. ("Verdanta", "we", "our", or "us").

2. Reservations & Bookings

All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by Verdanta. A valid credit or debit card is required to secure a reservation. By making a reservation, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and that the payment details provided are accurate and that you are authorised to use the payment method. Room rates are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Verdanta reserves the right to modify room rates and availability without prior notice.

3. Check-In & Check-Out

Standard check-in time is 2:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. A valid government-issued photo identification is required at check-in for all guests. Foreign nationals must present a valid passport and visa where applicable.

4. Cancellation & Modification Policy

Cancellations made 14 or more days prior to the scheduled arrival date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made between 7 and 13 days prior to arrival will be charged a fee equivalent to one night's stay. Cancellations made fewer than 7 days prior to arrival, or in the case of a no-show, will be charged the full reservation amount. Modifications to existing reservations are subject to availability and may result in rate changes.

5. Guest Conduct

Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that does not disturb other guests or the natural environment of the estate. Verdanta reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service to any guest whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or in violation of these Terms. Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas and is permitted only in designated outdoor zones. Verdanta is located within a sensitive ecological zone; guests are requested to respect the natural habitat and wildlife.

6. Liability

Verdanta shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury to persons or property arising from the guest's stay, except where such loss, damage, or injury is caused by the proven negligence of Verdanta or its employees. Guests are advised not to leave valuables unattended. An in-room safe is provided for the secure storage of personal belongings. Verdanta's total liability shall in no event exceed the amount paid by the guest for the reservation in question.

7. Force Majeure

Verdanta shall not be held liable for failure to perform any obligation under these Terms if such failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, epidemics, governmental actions, civil unrest, extreme weather conditions, or disruption to transportation infrastructure.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including text, images, graphics, logos, and design — is the property of Verdanta Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this Site without our prior written consent.

9. Website Use

You agree not to use this Site for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Site. You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, its servers, or any connected systems. We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access to the Site at our sole discretion.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.

11. Amendments

Verdanta reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting the revised Terms on this Site. Your continued use of the Site following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
